I’m Steven Ray, the owner of Steven Ray Design. I hope you’ll join this conversation on design, technology and whatever else catches my eye.

“Grisaille” is a painting technique, in which the entire image is rendered in white and shades of gray. It looks a lot like marble relief carvings. I chose it as the name of this blog because in design and life things are rarely black and white. In the discussions here there will be few right or wrong answers — only preferences, opinions, and stronger or weaker arguments.
